Free Valentine's message on BT Live Video Screens across the UK
DBS Telecoms can reveal that BT's London 2012 Live Site screens across the UK, which are big video displays and event spaces in urban centres that offer live information and TV style coverage, will soon display "tweets, texts, emails and photos" when they become "Love Sites" instead.
BT claims that "romantics" will be able to send their messages to appear on the Live Site screens between Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th February from 11.00 - 18.00, and on Monday 14th from 10.00 - 18.00.
Members of the public can tweet their messages to @BTLoveSites, including the hashtag relevant to their location; or email livesites@bt.com quoting the relevant location (e.g. "London"). They can also send a text, including the location to 82010 (25p plus your standard network fee).

0800 Numbers Can Prevent A Telecoms Nightmare
Ever stopped to consider what would happen to your business in the event of fire, flood, theft or criminal damage?
At DBS Telecoms we understand that it's not pleasant to consider the disruption that these events could cause but at the same time believe it is foolhardy to bury ones head in the sand.
Most insurance concerns itself with buildings and contents which is great but can take, days, weeks or months to sort out.
What happens to the day to day running of our business in the meantime and, in particular, what happens to your phone calls if your phone system is damaged or stolen?
The good news is that DBS Telecoms 0800 numbers can come to your rescue and offer a complete continuity of service.

TalkTalk loses 25,000 Broadband Customers in Third Quarter of 2010
UK Telecoms provider TalkTalk shed 25,000 broadband subscribers in the 3rd quarter of 2010.
TalkTalk latest financial results show it is left with over 4 million broadband subsribers.
2010 was a tough year for TalkTalk - in November, UK telecoms regulator Ofcom announced that it would be investigating whether TalkTalk had mis-sold its fixed line phone services or switched customers' phone lines without consent, following a number of complaints about the company's actions.

0845 Numbers - How Do I Choose Where To Buy One From?
If you're reading this article then chances are you have all ready thought about ordering an 0845 number.
You will have probably realised that if you decide to order an 0845 number and point it to a landline then you will not pay to receive calls. This makes owning an 0845 number a very attractive proposition for most UK business owners as it means that the costs for their number are fixed. It doesn't matter how many calls they receive their bill will always be the same.
So, I hear you say, if that's the case what could go wrong? Unfortunately there are several pitfalls to avoid. As with most things it pays to read the small print thoroughly before you commit to a deal. As a wise man once said "act in haste, repent at leisure...

0800, 0844 and 0845 Fax to Email Services – the Green, Environmentally Friendly Alternative
Many UK firms are starting to realise that there is a greener, more environmentally friendly way of handling faxes within the office.
Companies are now able to use non-geographic numbers and point them directly to an email address. Non-geographic numbers include 0800, 0844 and 0845 numbers. On the other hand, geographic numbers "belong" somewhere and can be identified by their prefix or area code eg London has an 0207 or 0208 area code.
If you use a non-geographic number pointed at your email address it means all faxes are delivered to your PC rather than your fax machine. The immediate green advantage is that faxes don't have to be printed out because they can be viewed on screen. This saves paper and protects the environment.
